Delete Your Canvoz Account
Canvoz is built and operated by an independent developer based in Ohio, USA. This page explains how to request deletion of your Canvoz account and the data associated with it — whether or not you still have the app installed.
How to request deletion
- Email [email protected] from the email address on your Canvoz account, with the subject line "Delete my account."
- Include the email address your account uses to sign in (or, if you signed in with Apple, let us know so we can match your account).
- We verify the request and delete your account and associated data within 30 days, and confirm by email once it's complete.
You can also delete individual pieces of information without deleting your whole account — for example, removing a specific memory entry from the review screen inside the app, or removing a child profile — without contacting us.
What gets deleted
When your account deletion request is completed, we delete:
- Your account and profile information (email, name, role)
- Every child profile associated with your account, including survey answers
- Boards, pages, cards, and vocabulary you created
- Memory entries and photo-session records
- Any photos you uploaded to our servers for analysis
What may be retained
Some information is not ours to delete because it's held by our payment partners rather than by Canvoz:
- Apple and Google retain their own purchase and transaction records for your subscription according to their own policies, independent of your Canvoz account.
- RevenueCat, our subscription management provider, may retain anonymized transaction records for a limited period for fraud prevention and legal/accounting purposes. It does not retain data that identifies your child.
Canvoz itself does not store your payment card details under any circumstance.
